A Deadly Day in Brussels After Coordinated Terrorist Attacks.

March 22, 2016

Approximately 8:00 a.m. Central European Time the first reports began to filter out that a bomb had exploded in the Brussels airport. Here is what is known at the moment:  Multiple explosions rocked Brussels, Belgium in what appears to be coordinated terrorist attacks.

The first was carried out at Brussles Airport at approximately 8:00 a.m CETZ.  At least 15 people have been killed with scores more seriously injured. Within 20 minutes, more terror attacks claiming the lives of at least 10 more were carried out at  Brussels Metro Rail system.

These attacks are considered to have been cooridinated and carried out by ISIS as the bombs used in today's attacks have a lot of the same marking as those used in the Paris attack which were made by Salah Abdeslam.  Abdeslam who was arrested last Friday has been making public statments which could have sent signals to other terrorists.  Authorities have sent out a world wide BOLO for Najim Laachraouit, traveling with many fake IDs and passports.  Laachraouit is a known associate of Abdeslam and whose fingerprints were found on bomb making materials at the apartment where Salah Abdeslam was arrested.  It is currently believed the two made the bombs used today.

Brussels is now at Level 4 - Severe which equates to the city of Brussels is completely locked down and all persons have been informed to stay at home and off the street.  Travel is not allowed and cell service is sporadic. More than 2000 police have been deployed to Belgium's borders. Sadly the numbers of those dead and injured are expected to climb as the day continues.
